The rooms are clean and well kept however the attitude of the staff is not great. I work in construction and spend my entire week here as a lot of people do as well. I always ask In advance to have a ground floor room as I have a lot of equipment to bring in and out every day. If I only had a lunch and myself, I wouldnt mind. But working a 12 hour shift then having to spend extra time lugging stuff up to my room every day is a pain. After asking and being told yes, I arrive at 7 pm on a Monday to be told that someone else has asked for a ground floor and I had to be moved to the top by the manager. Not what I wanted to hear after working a 12 hour day in almost 40 degree weather. It seems as though they are not willing to accommodate people who are spending a significant amount of time here.
Recently updated, clean, quiet and comfortable. Would stay again. The breakfast attendant lady was especially awesome! Having a hot breakfast was great and she made sure everything was perfect.
Nice and clean room but looks outdated maybe because of the colour scheme. Tub drain was not working so we were moved to a different room but it was not convenient for us. We're supposed to be on bed after a day's drive but we have to move our stuff instead. We stayed for 4 nights and breakfast is the same everyday but I like it that hot drinks are available 24/7 in the reception area and nice-tasting coffee, choice of regular or decaf :)
Rooms are very dated, amenities such as outlets by nightstands are not available for charging personal electronics. The only toiletry provided is one bar of soap. Bed linens were not clean. The comfortor had blood on it from a previous guest. Our room located at the back near the highway was very noisy even with a white noise app playing. Carpets also in dire need of replacing especially in public areas. Bed was pretty comfortable though.
Located behind a Home Hardware store. Lots of benches outside the building. Room was nice. I liked the conveniently located power bars. Lots of options on the breakfast in the morning.
