HOMEY B&B WITH PLEASANT OWNERvery pleasant and welcoming place but some needed to be updated. However the beds are very comfortable and bed sheet is clean. Shower water pressure strong enough. Wifi stable. Very good location. Easy parking Breakfast was good - eggs, toast, fruits and coffee and juice. Will stay again if I go to Moncton.
Terrible service, outdated, look bad, etc. I would avoid this place (i would avoid Moncton all together honestly). To be fair, the price was "ok" and its very well situated, near eveything.
The building is nice and rustic, located close to everything in Moncton. Morning breakfast was simple yet good. Only complaint would be more channels on their TV.
We booked two rooms with own private washrooms and breakfast included. However, upon reaching the inn in which we paid for, our two rooms amenity was not honoured. Instead were given two rooms with a shared common washrooms. The owner decided to reduce the rate by $10 but no breakfast. Fortunately after showing our proof, she says fine and will provide breakfast. Yet unfortunately, one of the rooms has no air-cond, but a stand fan! Again, we requested for an air-cond room for one. She says she have a room with air-cond and a private washroom. However, we will have to pay $20 for both the rooms considering the other room (with the air-cond) now has a "private" instead of a shared washroom, should we decide to take it. If we do not, she says she will rent out the room with the stand fan to who ever comes by for the night. Sounds like a threat. We told her to go ahead but only pay extra $10 and the other stay put as it.The rooms are okay except the electrical power socket has so many extensions that it is scary! Wonder it will catch fire if overloaded!Parking is quite limited and the breakfast provided was okay. For a night is fine but we wouldn't stay another as the electrical connection has so many in one.
Owner wouldn't let me check in because I wanted to have my dog sleep in the car overnight. She said there wasn't enough air in the car for the dog to breathe. Can't comment on the quality of the rooms because the owner's canine asphyxiation concerns meant I had to make alternative arrangements.
