Neat museum recounting the history of the acadians from the area, with exhibits, information panels, and artifacts. It was interesting to refresh my memory on the subject as we visited the Maritimes. Several of the technology elements were not working (ex., phones for audio). There were free postcards available at the exit. Admission includes access to the art gallery in the same building. There were washrooms and water fountains available. Parking is paid on campus.
Great museum! Most of the content is provided is both English and French, so it's a great spot for anyone, but it's especially nice for people wanting to connect with their Acadian heritage.
Very nice and the receptionist was very helpful. Love learning about my Acadian ancestry.
Pour l'histoire....
Very good interactive Museam that covers the historical, political, social, religious and cultural views of the Acadians from their origins to present day. $2 for students, $5 for adults. Definitely worth a visit.
